Brian Spitzer
I am a PhD candidate in the Development Psychology program at New York University.

Most broadly, I am interested in how to shape adolescent behavior by studying the social forces that underlie motivation and learning. I believe in combining research from psychology and education to develop brief interventions that improve the course of a behavior over time.

In the past I have collaborated with incredibly supportive researchers such as Joshua AronsonCybele Raver, Carol Dweck, David YeagerKristin Pauker, and Kristina Olson to understand how to change human behavior, particularly in positive ways.
