Brian Spitzer I am a PhD candidate in the Development Psychology program at New York University. Most broadly, I am interested in how to shape adolescent behavior by studying the social forces that underlie motivation and learning. I believe in combining research from psychology and education to develop brief interventions that improve the course of a behavior over time. In the past I have collaborated with incredibly supportive researchers such as Joshua Aronson, Cybele Raver, Carol Dweck, David Yeager, Kristin Pauker, and Kristina Olson to understand how to change human behavior, particularly in positive ways. |
